Benji -Can you state your name and band name for the record?
Kyle -Kyle and Paris is burning

Benji-Give me a brief summary of how the band formed and any line up changes ect..
Kyle –We all started out with me-vocals Danny-guitar and Todd-drums, about three years ago about a year or so we got Jordon-guitar and Derek-bass. We have been playing as a five piece for about a year and a half, we tried out about five people for bass and guitar but Derek and Jordan just kind of fit. Both being alcoholics like ourselves ha

Benji- Who name the band Paris is burning and why?
Kyle-Todd came up with the name. We all thought it was a cleaver name so it stuck. We were call hope dies last but it ended up that, that name was already taken.. We also kind of out grew hope dies last and Paris is burning was a new image and new music that def. fit us better.

Benji-Tell me why you do what you do in music?
Kyle- It makes us happy.. We like to play heavy music for me as a vocalist it gives me an outlet for all my anger and whatnot but basically its just fun for all of us.

Benji-If there was one thing you could change about the music industry, what would it be?
Kyle-Shit man....liars. Everyone likes to take advantage of others. We have met lots of promoters who are all full of shit. That's just the way it is. Some people are true and those people we hold close, but they are def. hard to find

Benji-What message if any is Paris is burning trying to reach out to there fans?
Kyle-The message we want to project is to be true to yourself ...if you hate the world don't be afraid to say it. You know fuck it. But then again if you love the way things are going go ahead and speak your mind, party, fuck, drink, just do what makes you happy. Because in the long run that's all that matters. We love when people come up to us and are stoked on our music because it feels like we got some point across

Benji-Tell me the feeling you have on stage playing in front of those fans, whether it is two heads or 2000 heads
Kyle –Either way its fun.. We like to play in front of large crowds because there is allot more energy. but playing for small crowds is cool too because you can make a more personal experience to everyone in the crowd and I feel that they feel the music a lot more because its right there in front of there face

Benji- What's going on with the band right now as far as recording and touring?
Kyle-We just finished recording our second CD a matter of face our CD release is tomorrow and it should be a really good time. We are stoked on are new music. And I think lots of people will dig it. As for touring we have been working on this CD for the last 4 months so we haven't had much time to plan anything. And were fucking BROKE so we have to make some money before we can set up anything big.

Benji-What CD is stuck in your CD player right now?
Kyle-The Faceless, Daughters, The Brail Pot, Bidding War, Everytime I Die Between the buried and me the list never ends.

Benji -Tell me the dream line up you would like to see Paris is burning play on a show and where?
Kyle- All of our favorite bands on a tour everywhere such as. Every time I die, Thursday, Between the Buried and Me, Black Dahlia Murder

Benji- Tell me the three most important things you got to do to become noticed in the music screen if you're playing in a band in your opinion of course?
Kyle- Talented music. Good stage presence. Ridiculously good looking.
