INTERVIEW WITH INNOCENCE

Sometimes you find yourself in a realm of anger because your just so damn sick of your Cds, wishing something new would come out and just smack you in the face. Something you can put in your Cd player and lose in there for a couple of years because it so damn good. Well look no more, this is that band. I don..t think I have ever heard anything so pure and mind pleasing as this band. If you have ever gotten the goose bumps from hearing your favorite band, well then you know what I mean.

Benji- Can you state your name, instrument and band name for the record?
Russ- Guitar
Wade- Guitar
Josh- Drums
Chad- Vocals
Red beard .. Bass
Chad- Innocence muther fucker (lol).

Benji- Where did the name Innocence come from?
Wade- Everything pure that needs to be destroyed.
Chad- No where did the name come from muther fucker (talking to Wade) It came from a town called Wilton in the middle of nowhere.
Wade- Yea the cows.
Chad- The world has been blessed.
Josh- Wilton was a place where we could be reborn so we were Innocence.

Benji- How did the band form?
Wade- Well I called everybody, I went out and found everybody, then we fire a bunch of people, then we got some new people and now everyone is working now.

Benji- What makes Innocence different from all the other local bands in the scene?
Wade- Balls to the wall, pure aggression, love/hate/murder/kill and influences from the real metal bands.
Chad- The difference in us and all these other cock suckers is that we actually play metal, and these other mutha fuckers just pretend to play metal.
Russ- I hate cockroaches!

Benji- So what was the best show you can remember playing?
Wade- I got best memories from every show.
Chad- Halloween show at the Boardwalk, just because we haven..t played our next show yet.

Benji- What changes, if any, need to be made in the music industry?
Josh- More metal bands helping metal bands. Not so much the dog eat dog cut throat shit going on.
Chad- The musician is getting fucked and this always has been a consistent battle between the musician and the labels. Shit, first thing to mind.
Josh- Too many metal bands are just worried about themselves, that..s why very few metal bands make it. If all metal bands were working together to bring up the fucking genre, then we would dominate the industry.

Benji- Where does Innocence plan to be by the year 2005?
Wade- Fucking someone..s world up on stage, hopefully in front of thousands of people.
Beer, violence, mosh pits, loud music, an good ole times.
Chad- Showing mutha fuckers.. metal can still be metal and rule! Chances are that if you a fucking faggot you're probably not metal. Fuck all the screamo bands!

Benji- When can we expect a full length album?
Wade- Pretty fucking soon!
Chad- By 2006.
Josh- My balls are sticking to my legs.
(Room laughing their asses off!)

Benji- Explain the style of music and why do you play in the first place?
Wade- Because it fucking rules! It..s a combination of every emotion every person feels on a daily basis. But we have the balls to show people and we can bring it to the table. Everyone else can suck on a donkey..s asshole!
Chad- I think every one of us would be in jail right now if we didn..t have something to exert our anger and bullshit of everyday life. Fuck man we are not rock stars yet, we got to work every fucking day and deal with these mutha fuckers we hate. We need metal to..like, keep us under control. Like some antidepressant.
Wade- Pure therapy.
Chad- Because if we don..t do it bro, we are going to murder mutha fuckers. So, we murder people through our music.
Josh- It..s an outlet, so we may stay calm and mesh with the rest of the hellbound rat race.

Benji- Tell me the feeling you have deep inside of your soul., when on stage playing in front of your fans?
Chad- Combination of every drug you ever felt man. Better than..fucking anything! To sum it all up, pure nirvana.
Josh- When I..m back there swingin' sticks, I like leave this world, honestly, I..m not there, I..m someone else.

Benji- How do you guys feel about mosh pits?
Chad- I don..t know man, our pit boss should answer that one.
The Pit Boss- Without the pit, well..it would just be music.

Benji- Tell me the ideal line up.
All- Slayer/Innocence/Devil Driver/Morbid Angel/Chimera /Slipknot.
Benji- What would it be called.. the show that is?
Chad- I have bodies burned in my back yard fest.

~Closing Statement~ Basically, you..re all going to die, but at least you can all come hear some metal first!
