It’s been another great year for the 2008 Your Music Olympicks in Santa Cruz as the “Live Performance” event wrapped up Friday May 23rd at The Catalyst finals.  You have all cast your vote and now we have the top 3 Santa Cruz winners in the $2,000 “Live Performance” competition. The winner of the GOLD is Cylinder they will receive $2,000 cash the SILVER goes to Honest Mistake receiving $1,200 in recording time from Indigital Studio, My Stupid Brother takes the BRONZE and all 7 finalists win an Epiphone guitar!

The Your Music Magazine Rock Wars are now the Your Music Olympicks! The 2008 Your Music Olympicks will be the most complete band evaluation process that has ever been attempted. Your Music Magazine has put together an influential list of music industry judges, rock stars, and online polls to analyze every aspect of Northern California’s best, unsigned local bands.  Our new format will have over 20 different categories of competition from best CD to best band logo.  The winning bands in each event will be awarding a gold, silver, or bronze medal, as well as cash and prizes in the main events throughout 2008.
