The Your Music Magazine Rock Wars are now the Your Music Olympicks! The 2008 Your Music Olympicks will be the most complete band evaluation process that has ever been attempted. Your Music Magazine has put together an influential list of music industry judges, rock stars, and online polls to analyze every aspect of Northern California’s best, unsigned local bands. Our new format will have over 20 different categories of competition from best CD to best band logo. The winning bands in each event will be awarding a gold, silver, or bronze medal, as well as cash and prizes in the main events throughout 2008. Main events include: BEST CD (Rock, Metal, Punk, and Hip Hop) BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE (Santa Cruz, San Jose, Monterey, & Sacramento) BEST SONG BEST VIDEO and more.... Secondary events include: BEST GUITARIST BEST VOCALIST BEST BASSIST BEST DRUMMER BEST BAND PHOTO BEST ONLINE PRESENCE BEST COMPETITION FLYER and more.... These events will be judged by industry insiders, rock stars, live audiences, online polls, and reader input.
